The most commen wind in the Carieb are the easterly winds (Passat) who make it possible to sail 'Half wind' most of the time.
The wind strength is mostly 4 BF. and the distances in between the (larger) islands ia at the most 5-6 hours sailing.
With temperatures of 30º and an always gently blowing wind, it makes this area a fantastic sailing area
Because of the many (small) islands there are lots of save anchorages. You can go swimming or scubadiving between the beautiful coralreefs and see thousands of the most tropical and colorful fishes.
Can you picture yourself, sitting under a palmtree on a pearlwhite beach on a relaxing afternoon with a delicious coctail in your hands with your boat for anchor just a few yards away !!
